On arrival in Aswan we’ll take a trip to the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Camel riding and sailing the Nile

Aswan - Nile felucca cruise. Today begins with a motorboat trip to the West Bank where we’ll enjoy a camel ride to the 7th century St Simeon's Monastery. Feel like one of the locals as we ride over rolling sand dunes to explore this site. This afternoon say goodbye to Aswan and board a felucca - a traditional Egyptian sail boat. Enjoy some quality family time as we relax onboard, sitting on comfortable cushions to enjoy dinner. Later, settle down on deck to sleep under the stars. Please note: All minors (and adults who cannot swim) are required to wear a life jacket when the boat is sailing. Life jackets can be taken off when the boat is docked at shore.

Words fail to describe how amazing my experience in Egypt was. I feel honored and blessed to have had Dino as my guide throughout my journey. He is an incredible asset to On The Go Tours. We were so well prepared for every site and hotel. Dino kept us so well-informed. We always knew what to expect from the locals at each stop, and when and where breakfast was served each day. Not only is his knowledge and understanding of the historical sites deep and insightful, his sense of humor kept us amused. I really can't express how wonderful our trip was, mostly due to Dino, and On The Go. We never could have seen so much travelling alone. My 15 and 13 year old sons have incredible memories to last their lifetimes.

I would also like to say that the trip notes are an invaluable resource. I recommend everyone read them at least twice. Personal safety was never an issue in Egypt. I hope to one day visit again, as I found the Egyptian people to be warm and wonderful!
